Dr. Blake's background includes degrees in Biblical studies, special education and professional counseling. He has served as a church deacon, a Christian missionary to Africa, a staff counseling minister for a large church in the Kansas City area, a special education classroom teacher, a counselor in a large state comprehensive rehabilitation facility, a state university professor of education, and a Christian counselor in private practice. He is a world traveler having visited twenty countries on four continents, and he has made three educational trips to the Holy Lands.
